His strengths are in Enterprise Project Management (EPM), multi-industry management consulting, and partner based solution sales/delivery. His previous business experiences include: Project Manager for Microsoft Business Solutions; Director of Services at Teradyne; Manager and Executive Consultant for IBM Global Services; and Manager at KPMG Consulting.
Chuck is currently a VP of Operations for the Microsoft Project User's Group's Atlanta chapter. Additionally, he was a VP of Finance for the Atlanta chapter of the Project Mgmt Institute (PMI). Chuck teaches project management classes at the university level and to professional societies throughout the US. His certifications include: Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsot Certified Trainier (MCT), Project Management Professional (PMP) by PMI, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Information Technology Specialist by IBM.
Academically, he holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Jim Anderson, PMP, MSPM, MCITP
Jim Anderson is a project management professional with 25+ years of successful project implementations and service delivery of highly technical telecommunication products and services during his career at AT&T. Now an Independent Consultant, Jim's experiences are within commercial real estate at Novare Group and The Lane Company related to Microsoft Project Server and at Kilpatrick and Stockton, Attorneys at Law; TIAA-CREF; and at Sita Equant focused on Project Management Offices methodologies. Additionally, Jim's strengths are in problem-solving, trouble-shooting, analytical and leadership skills. Jim is now a project consultant and trainer specializing in enterprise project management at the enterprise and PMO level. Jim is currently focused on the implementation, customization and training for Microsoft’s Office Project Server 2007 and SharePoint Server 2007. Jim has deployed Microsoft Project and Portfolio Server products in the southeast United States. He is certified by Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) having completed all four certification tests from Microsoft Learning.
Jim has earned his PMP from PMI and is a member of the Atlanta chapters of PMI and MPA, (the official industry association of Microsoft Office Project). He also has a BA from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA and a Master of Science in Project Management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Anthony Washington, MCP, MCTS Anthony Washington is a software engineer with over 11 years of professional IT and consulting experience. Well-versed, his proficiency and knowledge spans across multiple disciplines of IT including software development and management. His competencies include practical knowledge of the Software Design Life Cycle (SDLC) and implementation of the Agile software design methodology.
Anthony specializes in providing Enterprise Data Warehouse reporting solutions. His diverse skill set includes implementing solutions across a vast number of mainframe and client-server platforms such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Actuate, Brio, Siebel, Callidus TrueComp, Clarity, NIKU, Crystal Reports, Solution-IV. Over the past decade, he has consistently developed and deployed Enterprise Reporting Solutions to various top Fortune & Global 500 companies including Accenture, ATT/Bellsouth, Harland Clarke, ING, The Home Depot, and IKON. A graduate of DeVry University and Keller Graduate School of Management, in Computer Information Systems and Information Systems Management, Mr. Washington also have achieved certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Business Intelligence. Jackson (Jack) Cole, PMP, MCTS Jackson (Jack) Cole is a project management professional with 35+ years of successful project implementations and service delivery of software development and systems integration in enterprise PMOs. Jack's projects include custom-built software engineering tools for Lockheed-Martin's F-22 Program, a license point-of-sale(POS) system for Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and Enterprise Project Management implementations using Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint Services. Jack's most recent experience has been implementation, customization and training for Microsoft Project Professional/Project Server, and SharePoint Services. Using Libraries, Lists, Surveys, and Discussion groups in SharePoint, Jack can introduce all levels of the enterprise to a collaborative discipline while gathering the information needed to define the parameters needed by Microsoft Project/Project Server. Jack can design training specifically for an enterprise from the executive level to the project team member. Jack's strong analytical and problem-solving skills can assist an enterprise's infrastructure support team in installation and maintenance of the products.
Jack has held PMP certification from PMI since 1999, Microsoft Certification in Project and Project Server 2007, and is a member of the Atlanta chapters of PMI and MPA, (the official industry association of Microsoft Office Project). He has a B. E. E. from Georgia Tech, and a Master of Science (Engineering) from the University of Oklahoma. Derrick Lathem Derrick Lathem is a resourceful technical consultant and developer with a breadth of experience. Derrick has over 14 years experience in IT and his industry experiences are in consumer goods, insurance, and commercial water infrastructure.
Derrick's technical strengths are in implementing Microsoft Project Server and development of technical interfaces using Visual Studio to other associated applications or services such as SharePoint, Team Foundation Server, SQL Reporting Services, and Active Directory. Previously, Derrick worked at The Home Depot in their Atlanta Corporate IT Group as a Chief System Engineer and Project Server Administrator. While at The Home Depot, Derrick was the development lead for both Project Server 2003 and Project Server 2007 implementations. He has developed several custom reports in SSRS for clients and his programming background includes Java, C#, and SQL.
Academically, Derrick attended the University of Alabama, Huntsville with studies in Mechanical Engineering. Lisa Grant, MBA, PMP
Lisa A. Grant is a Professional Project Manager; not because she achieved the PMP® designation from the Project Management Institute in 1996, but because she has committed her career to the advancement of the project management discipline through consulting, training, coaching and volunteering. She has influenced and improved project management processes in various industries and functional areas such as Knowledge Management, Healthcare, e-Learning, State and Federal Government, Automotive, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Payroll, Textile, and Beverage verticals. Her consulting value proposition stems from 20+ years of Information Technology experience including full life-cycle application development (SDLC), software implementations, e-learning product launches, Program Management Office creation, Business Process Mapping, and process improvement business consulting.
Her tactical training experience includes e-learning, instructor-led programs and involvement in communities of practice. She is also a fervent blogger and podcaster of Project Management topics and war stories. Personal improvement is Lisa’s passion and she regularly coaches new project managers, and served as an official mentor for Toastmasters Club 8708. She has serviced PMI in various volunteer roles such as a participant on PMI Global PMP exam writing committees, as the Program Manager for the Certification and Education Committee of the PMI Atlanta Chapter, the President of the PMI Atlanta Chapter, and is currently the Chair of the PMI Atlanta Chapter. Additionally, she performed the role of Secretary for Toastmasters Club 8708 in 2005, was Program Director for the Atlanta Microsoft Project Association in 2006.
She has an MBA with a concentration in Management from Georgia State University, is a Project Management Professional, Advanced Communicator - Bronze, and Competent Leader. Robin Tracy, PMP, CBAP 
Robin Tracy is a senior level consultant with experience in both the private and public sector helping establish and manage large scale Program Management Offices as well as Centers of Excellence for Business Analysts. Ms. Tracy has over 25 year’s business experience and was one of the first Certified Business Analyst Professionals (CBAP) in the world. She is an experienced public speaker and most recently spoke at the PMI Atlanta professional Growth session on the Struggle between Project Managers and Business Analysts. She has extensive knowledge developing and working in all Software Development Lifecycle methodologies as well as working in Finance, Insurance, Automotive, Government and Healthcare industries.
Most recently Ms. Tracy was a Business Consultant for Computer Associates International, where she managed the development and implementation of a Software Development Lifecycle methodology for a large SAP Portal implementation.
Her education includes a BBA from Georgia State University as well as numerous certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Six Sigma Green Belt and MS Project Server Black Belt. Robin is an active member of the PMI Atlanta Chapter and is the current VP of Membership Services for IIBA Greater Atlanta Chapter. Dr. Kim Magee  Dr. Magee has over 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resource Development and Human Resource Management. She is currently a Director of Human Resources in a major consumer goods company. She also has experience in the high-tech and public education sectors. Kim attended The Ohio State University and received a BS degree in Secondary Education. She earned a M.Ed. in Secondary Education from The University of Kentucky. In 2002, Kim completed a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies (AYSPS) at Georgia State University. Kim’s dissertation, “The Impact of Organizational Culture on the Implementation of Performance Management,” was selected as a finalist for the ASTD Dissertation of the Year Award. In 2003, Kim received the AYSPS award for Distinguished Contribution to HRD Research. Kim serves on the President’s Council at Georgia State University and is an instructor in the MBA program there. | |
